FAQ

How do I prepare for my session?

Try not to eat 1 hour prior to a session and wear flexible clothes that allow you to expose your abdomen (if happy to do this) or wear a vest or t-shirt base layer. Also wear trousers that allow you to move your legs. During your treatment, you will remain fully clothed.

Allow 15 mins before driving as sometimes people can feel slightly dizzy immediately after a session. This will pass and a short walk after a session is advisable if possible.

Do not consume alcohol or recreational drugs 24 hours before and after your appointment.

What is a typical session like?

Initial meeting will begin with a conversation about your health history and any current health (physical, mental, spiritual, emotional) issues you would like to address.

Followed by the session where I will guide you to breath into certain areas of your body as I massage these areas. While doing this you may experience a deep sense of relaxation and connect with yourself on a physical / emotional level. Your body will release when it is ready and breathing will support this.

After the session I will give you some advice for your general wellbeing. Drink plenty of water and get a good nights sleep. Sleeping is when we do our emotional digestion so it is important to be asleep by 11pm every night if possible.

What is your cancellation policy?

Yes please cancel at least 24 hours in advance to get a full refund. Less than 24 hours or no show will be charged for the full session.

Do you clean the space after each appointment?

Yes the table is sanitised after every session. I also wash my hands between sessions.

When should I not receive a session?

Your safety and well-being are our top priority. In certain situations, treatments may not be appropriate. Receiving treatment under these conditions could cause more harm than good, and in some cases may lead to serious medical complications.

Please avoid treatment if you have or are experiencing:

  • Infectious diseases
  • Thrombosis (blood clots)
  • Acute inflammation
  • Skin infections
  • Aneurysm
  • An intrauterine device (IUD) for birth control, is ok but please inform the practitioner

If you are unsure about your condition or whether a treatment is safe for you, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before scheduling an appointment.
